Leeds United allowed several players to leave the club in the just-concluded summer transfer window as part of their squad overhaul.
The Whites brought in seven new players during the summer, headlined by the club-record signing of goalkeeper James Trafford from Manchester City in a deal worth up to £45m.
Leeds also needed to move on a few players to balance their squad, and several were allowed to leave, including a couple who joined the club in the previous summer transfer window of 2025.
The club moved on three new goalkeepers in the summer, including Lucas Perri, who joined Torino on a season-long loan following Michael Zetterer’s arrival towards the end of the window.

Leeds United flop makes calamity mistake on debut
Lucas Perri lost his place in the team midway through last season after it became clear that Daniel Farke had lost faith in the goalkeeper he signed last summer.
The Brazilian only featured in cup games in the latter half of the season, and the club are happy to see him leave on loan to join Torino towards the end of the transfer window.
Perri made his debut for Torino in the Coppa Italia round of 32 clash against Monza, and his error was the difference as the home side crashed out of the competition.
Torino were beaten 1-0, with goalkeeper Perri left frustrated after conceding a goal he will feel he should have done much better with.

Just before the interval, a low cross was delivered from the left, and Dany Mota managed to get a touch on it, sending the ball towards the near post.
Perri was already positioned in the right place, but instead of making the save, the effort somehow squeezed through his legs and into the back of the net.
That costly error proved decisive, with Torino unable to find a way back into the game and salvage a point.

Leeds hope Perri won’t come back next year
Perri joined Leeds last summer with the club confident that he would be their number 1 for years to come. However, midway through the season, Farke lost faith in the Brazilian.
He looked uncomfortable on the ball and was too error-prone for a team looking to survive in the Premier League.
James Trafford has looked worth every penny of the club-record fee Leeds paid this summer, and he is likely to be the number 1 for Leeds for years to come.
Torino have an option to buy Perri, and Leeds hope the Brazilian does enough to earn a permanent contract at the Italian club.
He does not have a future at Leeds, and him coming back to the club next year would add more complications.
