Leeds United have done all the work to make sure they are prepared for the new season. The Whites finished in 14th place last year, exceeding expectations.
The ownership have been very focused on improving the squad.
Leeds have signed James Trafford, Nico Elvedi, Tarik Muharemovic and Harry Wilson so far this summer. All these additions will no doubt improve the quality down the spine of the time.
But the 49ers are not finished yet, with reports that a few more signings will follow.
Pre-season has gone very well for Daniel Farke and his men, and they will face their first test away to Nottingham Forest.
Daniel Farke speaks on Leeds United future
With all the player transfers in this summer window, the topic of Farke’s Leeds United contract has died down.
When the German was faced with the question over his future in Thursday’s press conference, he once again opted to not give a straightforward answer.
”Haven’t you seen the news today? Ethan Ampadu contact extension until 2030, Joe Rodon until 2030, Jayden Bogle until 2030.”
”This means there is no money left for the manager! All jokes aside, two days before the start of the season I have more important topics to speak about.”
”We can speak when the window is shut or during an international break. Right now it’s not important.”
Farke remains under contract at Elland Road until 2027, and will be in charge of the team this season.

49ers will definitely be lining up Farke’s renewal
Outside all the transfer business, the 49ers have quietly gone about handling contract renewals.
Extending Ethan Ampadu’s deal was the first piece of business the ownership did after the end of last season. Club chairman Paraag Marathe made it clear how important it was.
And in recent days, Leeds have given new contracts to Joe Rodon and Jayden Bogle.
The duo have been a core of this team since their time in the Championship and last season in the Premier League, they proved their quality.
If Ampadu, Rodon and Bogle have all signed extensions, then Daniel Farke’s contract will be on the agenda.
Since taking over at Elland Road, the Leeds boss has done very well considering the team he is in charge of. Last season alone proved how important the German is to the club’s success.
His future will definitely be resolved soon.
