A lot of work has been done by the 49ers to push Leeds United transfers over the line this week. After things slowed down following James Trafford’s arrival, a lot has happened in the last seven days.
The Whites have signed Nico Elvedi on a permanent deal from Borussia Monchengladbach.
His arrival opened the door for Sebastiaan Bornauw, who has left Elland Road on a loan move to HSV. The transfer comes with a buy option for the Bundesliga side next summer.
Leeds have also confirmed a few exits in the last few days.
Hull City confirmed the signing of Joe Gelhardt on a permanent deal, and Joel Piroe has now joined West Ham on loan. The striker will join the London side on a temporary deal with an obligation to buy.
If the Hammers are promoted, the deal will be made permanent.
Leeds United reject offer for midfielder
It looks like the exits from Elland Road are not complete, with a few weeks left till the transfer deadline.
Leeds United are also in the market for key targets, including a backup goalkeeper, a fullback, midfielder and a striker. Daniel Farke will hope a few more arrivals can be completed before the window closes.

Alfie Cresswell needs first team football
Cresswell has been a highly rated talent coming up through the ranks at Thorp Arch.
The midfielder was one of the young players trusted by Daniel Farke to join the team in pre-season in the US.
Getting loans for the club’s best young players at this stage of their careers is very important. Harry Gray is out on loan once again this season and will play first team football.
Charlie Crew is on loan at Walsall this season.
Alfie Cresswell should be out on loan to get some crucial first team experience. He is one of the few quality players who have a real chance with the first team if they are handled well.
We might be needing the lad to back up the first team if we have injuries. Things should become clear in January if we can let him go out. Would be nice to see him get his chance at E R after the fiasco with his brother
Totally agree along with Harry Gray, they should moulding them for back up options
