Leeds United have strengthened their squad this summer with the arrivals of Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemovic as they look to build on last season’s 14th-place Premier League finish.
The Whites pulled off an impressive coup by signing Wilson on a free transfer, convincing the Wales international to reject offers from a number of Premier League clubs as well as interest from across Europe.
They are equally excited about the arrival of Muharemovic, with the Bosnian centre-back opting for Elland Road despite being wanted by clubs playing European football.
Leeds are not finished in the transfer market either. They are still targeting a few more signings before the window closes, with several ambitious, high-profile options under consideration.

David Ornstein confirms Leeds United talks for James Trafford
The Athletic’s David Ornstein has confirmed Leeds United are in talks with Manchester City for the signature of goalkeeper James Trafford.
Leeds are in the market for a new goalkeeper after Karl Darlow, who finished last season as the club’s first-choice stopper, left on a free transfer to Manchester United.
Graham Smyth has revealed that Leeds United are prioritising signing the Manchester City goalkeeper over other options at this stage of the window.
Leeds have identified the Manchester City goalkeeper as a statement signing for this window, and are pushing hard to secure a deal for his signature.
Newcastle United are also interested in the goalkeeper, but Leeds are now trying to muscle their way to the front row for Trafford’s signature.
Manchester City want in excess of £40m for the goalkeeper this summer, and the 49ers are crunching the numbers to secure a deal for the 23-year-old.
Trafford recently returned from the World Cup, where he was part of an England squad that finished third in the tournament.
Leeds United need a goalkeeper soon
Lucas Perri and Alex Cairns will both travel to the United States for Leeds United’s pre-season tour, joined by several goalkeepers from the club’s academy setup.
However, Leeds have no intention of heading into the new campaign with just two senior goalkeepers. Nor are they planning to hand Perri the No.1 shirt following Karl Darlow’s departure.
The Brazilian has attracted interest from Italian side Torino, but the proposed move has lost momentum as Leeds continue to search for a replacement before sanctioning his exit.
Reports in Italy suggest Torino could now turn their attention elsewhere if the delay continues.
Whatever other transfer business the 49ers complete before the window closes, signing a goalkeeper remains one of their biggest priorities.
