Leeds United did some very good business in the summer window. The club aimed at improving the quality in the lineup as they prepared for their second season in the top flight.
Last year, the club splashed over £100 million adding serious depth to the team, and it worked as they avoided relegation.
Finishing 14th was a very positive sign, the 49ers spent more money on recruitment this summer. The team targeted players capable of raising the level in some positions.
Leeds added a new keeper in James Trafford, two centre backs in Elvedi and Muharemovic, and attackers Harry Wilson and Jean-Matteo Bahoya.
Fans complained that the spending was primarily focused on defensive personnel in the team.

But so far, things have worked out well; Leeds United have conceded just six goals in the league this season. Daniel Farke’s side rank third in the Premier League for goals conceded.
Trafford has been a huge part in this, but Tarik Muharemovic remains the standout in the backline.
The Bosnian has been one of the early surprises in the league so far. Muharemovic has had some very dominant performances and has even made BBCs Premier League Team of the Week.
Troy Deeney was impressed with his performance: ”What a beast he is. I don’t know where Leeds found him but he heads it, kicks it, runs through people.”
Reports claim that clubs across Europe are keeping an eye on the 23-year old ahead of next season.
The defender starred as Leeds United were held to a draw by Man United at Elland Road. He had an impressive game, and Gary Neville had some praise for him on Sky Sports commentary.
“I have a mate who is a Leeds fan and he raves about that lad (Muharemovic).”
Muharemovic ended the game with an assist, five clearances, won five out of his six aerial duels and created two chances.

Whites are not letting go of Muharemovic soon
Tarik Muharemovic has taken great strides since arriving in England; he was highly rated in Italy but has gotten a huge spotlight coming to the Premier League this season.
And clubs are keeping an eye on his performances, including the likes of Inter Milan.
But the Whites’ stance remains the same – they are intent on keeping the Bosnian for as long as possible.
He is one of the stars of their project, and they will keep him at Elland Road for years to come. With the club’s ambitions, he will fit nicely with their timeline alongside young stars in the team like Trafford and Bahoya.
