Leeds United made a huge call on the club’s trip to the US for their pre-season tour. Just like last year, some names were omitted from the travelling squad.
This indicated the players that were not in the first team plans ahead of the new season.
Joe Gelhardt, Jack Harrison, Max Wober and Largie Ramazani were all left out of the squad for the training camp.
Leeds firmly believed that all four would find their way out of the club this summer. These players were allowed to leave on temporary deals last year, and returned at the end of the season.
Wober ended up terminating his contract to leave as a free agent, while Harrison joined a club in the MLS on a permanent deal.
Hull City swooped in and signed Gelhardt on a permanent deal after the forward has been on loan at the club for most of the last two seasons.
Head coach is not keen on signing Leeds United star this summer
Largie Ramazani remains the only player from that group currently under contract with Leeds United.
The winger was loaned out when the Premier League began last year, which came as a bit of a surprise. Ramazani joined Spanish side Valencia on a season-long loan deal.
After injuries disrupted his first few months, he found some rhythm late in the season.
The Belgian scored six goals in the second half of the season, ending his loan spell on a high note.
Valencia have been pushing to sign him since the start of the summer; the club CEO met with officials at Elland Road months ago. But a deal has yet to be reached as the La Liga side has not met the financial obligations.
The latest update on this transfer pursuit from Spain further casts doubt on a move.

According to Marca Valencia reporter Dario Puig, Valencia coach Carlos Corberan is not keen on a move for Largie Ramazani. The 43-year old did not like how the winger fell off towards the end of last season.
It is believed the Valencia boss wants a different type of winger, as he is not impressed by the names the club has presented – which could possibly include Ramazani.

Time is running out for Valencia
There are just weeks to go till the transfer deadline, and the Spanish side have yet to bring in a winger.
They are about to lose on too, which could make them more desperate in the final days of the window.
Largie Ramazani possibly remains an option, as the Valencia hierarchy are keen on him. The player has also expressed his interest in a return to Spain, according to reports.
But head coach Carlos Corberan could have the final say in all of this.
If he continues to push against Ramazani’s arrival, the Belgian could remain a Leeds player for this upcoming season.
Well we have cleared the decks and raised some.more cash. Can we see some attacking players signed now please?
