Jamie O’Hara was left with another reason to remember Leeds United’s victory over Tottenham, and it had little to do with what happened on the pitch.
The former Spurs midfielder had already made his feelings clear about the controversial refereeing decisions during Saturday’s game at Elland Road. But after Leeds secured a 1-0 win, supporters were quick to remind him of the result – and O’Hara was not particularly impressed.
O’Hara reveals Leeds fans’ dig after Tottenham defeat
Speaking live on talkSPORT, O’Hara revealed that Leeds supporters had taken a cheeky swipe at him on social media following their victory.
“Leeds mocked me on Twitter,” he said.
“Not actually Leeds, but Leeds Twitter.
“They put up the result and wrote, ‘Goooooooood win, that’.”
The message was a clear reference to O’Hara’s outspoken reaction during the match, particularly his fury over the decision not to send off Jayden Bogle for his challenge on Mathys Tel.
O’Hara had questioned the officials repeatedly on air, even branding the VAR official a “clown” as he argued that Bogle should have been dismissed.
Leeds supporters clearly had not forgotten his reaction. Their post turned the final result into a pointed response to the former Tottenham player’s criticism.

Leeds have the last laugh at Elland Road
For all the controversy surrounding the Bogle challenge, the result was what mattered most to Leeds.
Noah Okafor came off the bench to score the winner in the 79th minute, handing Daniel Farke’s side a valuable 1-0 victory.
Tottenham had arrived at Elland Road on the back of three consecutive wins, but left empty-handed after struggling to find a way through Leeds in the second half.
O’Hara had plenty to say about the officiating during the contest. Leeds fans, meanwhile, had a much simpler response once the final whistle went: their team had won, and they were not going to let him forget it.
