Leeds United have a clear goalscoring problem. Last season it took incredible effort from the attack to help the team.
The Whites are more of a pragmatic defensive side who thrive on transitions. Last year, Noah Okafor, Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin did all of the heavy lifting.
They scored enough goals to help the team win crucial points.
Many fans expected a striker to be added this summer, but no one was signed. Club chief Robbie Evans explained the difficulty in finding a player willing to be backup behind Calvert-Lewin.
So Leeds went into the new season with the same attack plus Jean-Matteo Bahoya.

And unfortunately for the team, not every player has carried on from where they left off.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin started the season well, but Okafor and Nmecha have yet to make meaningful contributions. Okafor has barely been fit and Farke refuses to use Nmecha as a starter.
With all the problems in attack, many suspect that the team will need a centre forward in January.
Per Croatian outlet Vecernji List, Dinamo striker Dion Beljo is on the Whites’ shortlist. Other Premier League clubs are following the situation including Man United and Everton.
There is no word on if Beljo will be available or if his club will be interested in a January sale. The 27-year old has 18 goals in 17 games this season.

Whites desperately need an option up front
Adding Harry Wilson and Bahoya was good in the summer, but Leeds need a central presence.
The club choosing not to sign a striker is turning out to be a questionable decision.
Nmecha could leave in January, and the club have no other options at centre forward. A move for Beljo could be the wildcard the team need in the league.
