A striker has been in the conversation at Leeds United for the last few weeks. The club still want a few new faces through the door before the transfer deadline.
Leeds have managed to upgrade their backline with three new additions.
James Trafford will be the club’s long-term number one, while Nico Elvedi and Tarik Muharemovic will be solid additions to the backline. Muharemovic has already wowed fans with his displays early in the season.
But in this window, there remains a lack of attacking quality.
Outside Harry Wilson, the Whites have failed to add serious quality up front. And what complicates this more is the players the team have lost in the transfer window already.

Joel Piroe has been loaned to West Ham for the season, and Joe Gelhardt has joined Hull City on a permanent deal.
Even though Piroe is not a big part of the club’s plans, the team will have one less option at centre forward in this campaign. And with Largie Ramazani set to leave, a winger could come in.
Leeds United have had interest in Burnley star Zian Flemming.
The Dutch striker was impressive in the Premier League last season, as he netted 11 goals despite starting just 21 games. Flemming has courted a lot of attention from clubs in Europe.

According to Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna, Lille are planning to submit an offer for the Burnley star.
Per the report, Burnley are said to be demanding around £8.5 million for the 28-year old.
Leeds are yet to make an official proposal for the Dutchman. News this past week has revealed that the Whites are pushing to sign RB Leipzig striker Conrad Harder.

Leeds should go after Zian Flemming
Per multiple sources, the 49ers want a centre forward in this transfer window.
Losing Joel Piroe means that the club only have Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin as the only first team strikers.
Zian Flemming is available and per reports, his price tag is very affordable. There is no reason why Leeds United should not be pushing to sign him ahead of clubs like Lille.
He has shown that he can score in the Premier League, and last season he was not the undisputed starter.
So it would not be out of place to have him as the backup for Calvert-Lewin at that transfer fee.
Conrad unproven in Europe and in premier league over priced with no experience, move quickly put in a 10 or 12 million bid a good wagefor Fleming who was outstanding against West Ham, a big upgrade on DCL and Nemecha, proven in the PL and for that price is a bargain especially compared to Cpnrad and Delap overvalued players that maybe it just the press and the media and the agents amking it up. Put us all fans out of our misery. The season depends on signing a striker of at least the quality of Fleming, Big Bargain
