With one month left in the summer transfer window, Leeds United have signed just two players. Daniel Farke urged the board to invest in the first team at the end of last season.
The Whites also had a slow start to the summer last year, with most of the business being done around the training camp.
They ended the window with 10 new signings, spending £100 million in the process.
This time around, Leeds have been very particular about their signings. They pursued Harry Wilson before getting him to sign.
£34 million was spent on center back Tarik Muharemovic, who comes in to replace Pascal Struijk.
The Whites still have a long list of targets, and a number of deals on the table.
Leeds United could make six more signings in this window
Leeds United have already missed out on a big target, after Julian Brandt chose a move to Ajax. It was a big blow, as the club considered him as a serious option.
There are also talks over the James Trafford deal, which remains near completion. Finishing touches are being applied to seal the transfer.
The 49ers walked away from the table after their last offer for Southampton’s Shea Charles. They have left their door open for if the Saints still want to do business later this window.

Zinny Boswell of Sky Sports has reported that there could be up to six more additions to the first team.
There are plans for a backup goalkeeper after Trafford, a fullback, a winger who can play as a 10, a central midfielder and striker.

Who could Leeds target in these positions?
The midfielder will most likely be Shea Charles, if Southampton decide to revisit the last offer on the table.
Graham Smyth has also reported that Leeds have reignited interest in Igor Paixao. The Brazilian could be the winger target.
With Lucas Perri set to leave on loan when Trafford arrives, a backup goalkeeper will definitely be needed.
A fullback could be needed, with Sam Byram having left the club. Gabriel Gudmundsson did not have a backup last season.
Leeds have already discussed adding a new center forward this summer according to reports.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will need more support after carrying most of the goalscoring burden last season.
