Leeds United have already strengthened Daniel Farke’s squad this summer by signing Harry Wilson on a free transfer and completing a £34 million deal for Sassuolo defender Tarik Muharemovic.
The 23-year-old completed his medical last week before his arrival was officially confirmed on Friday, making him the second most expensive signing in the club’s history.
While Muharemovic’s arrival has dominated the headlines, Leeds are also dealing with an increasingly tricky situation behind the scenes. One established first-team player is now pushing for a move away before the transfer window shuts.
The Whites were always expected to oversee several departures following Isaac Schmidt’s exit, but losing this player would leave Farke with a significant problem unless the club can find a suitable replacement.

Leeds United block exit amid a squad crisis
Karl Darlow’s decision not to sign a new contract with Leeds and to join Manchester United on a free transfer shocked many at Elland Road.
Leeds were already looking to sign a new goalkeeper even before the Welshman left, and that crisis has deepened after his departure this summer.
Lucas Perri was expected to move on before the summer transfer window after losing his spot in the team midway through last season.
Torino have been in talks with the Brazilian’s representatives to secure a deal, and he has emerged as their priority goalkeeper target this summer.
However, according to journalist Isaac Johnson, Leeds have made it clear that they are not interested in letting Perri leave until a new goalkeeper is signed.
The Brazilian is the only senior goalkeeper left in the squad, barring Alex Cairns, who has not made a first-team appearance for Leeds since joining them two years back.
Perri has approved the move to Torino and is pushing to leave Leeds as he wants to be the number one somewhere else.
However, Leeds have blocked any move for now, and the Brazilian has to wait until the club signs a new goalkeeper.

Unless the Whites can bring in two new goalkeepers before the transfer window closes, Perri is likely to remain at Elland Road for at least one more season.
This has to be a joke, the main position needed was always a Gk, been good links but nothing signed, now your desperate the links now are a joke who on earth is Savic? Trafford or Suzuki, not these second rate oldies and not great at there best, keep Perri, and sort out your Gk coaches, they are as much to blame, Meslier, Perri cant be coached, maybe the problem lies within quality of coaches. What ever happens, still need quality keeper ESSENTIAL but don’t buy because your desperate, spend more on whats always been needed, making do, WONT work! 🙈
