Leeds United are active in the market for more players, but are rapidly running out of time to add a few more fresh faces before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
The Whites sorted out their backup goalkeeper problem on Saturday night after they confirmed Michael Zetterer’s arrival from Eintracht Frankfurt on a permanent deal.
However, Leeds need a few more players to plug the gaps in Daniel Farke’s squad, and there seems to be particular emphasis on improving their forward line.
But the club remain open to strengthening other areas of their squad, and it seems Farke has not ruled out signing another midfielder before the window closes.

Leeds enter six-way Premier League battle for midfielder
The Whites are scrambling for targets in the final 48 hours of the transfer window, and are pushing to finalise a couple of deals before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
They remain hopeful about signing Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk and are exploring the possibility of signing Wolves attacking midfielder Mateus Mane.
According to Mundo Deportivo via Sport Witness, Leeds are one of the six Premier League clubs who are keen to sign Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado before the window closes.
Nottingham Forest have been pushing to sign him for a while, but now Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Leeds, Sunderland and Brighton are also keen.
Casado rejected offers from Saudi Arabia recently, and is prioritising staying in Europe over a move to the Middle East.
The young Barcelona star and Jorge Mends, are considering their options, and will make a final decision soon.
Casado is seen as a major talent at Barcelona, but the club are open to selling him to ease some of their financial pressure.

Where is the striker?
Leeds appear to be looking at strengthening almost every position except striker as they head into the final 48 hours of the transfer window.
They are exploring a deal to sign an unproven young talent from Wolves, while still pushing for Mudryk. Casado is also an immensely talented midfielder, but that is one area of the squad where Leeds are stacked.
What they don’t have is a reliable goalscorer beyond Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and gambling on the ex-Everton man’s fitness for another season is a huge risk.
Leeds must find a striker in the next 48 hours or risk looking toothless up front if Calvert-Lewin is out for any length of time.
