Leeds United have pressed the accelerator on their pursuit of players and are keen to bring in a few in before pre-season starts next month.
The Whites are looking to build on last season’s 14th-place finish in the Premier League and bring in upgrades in several key areas of the squad.
Leeds seem to be focusing on adding more quality to their midfield, which is also expected to trigger at least one key departure in the ongoing transfer window.
The club are also focused on improving their attack and are now working on simultaneous deals to ensure they can trigger multiple moves in the coming weeks.
Leeds United are working on completing a triple swoop
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are working on three deals to bring in Shea Charles, Julian Brandt and Harry Wilson in the coming weeks.
Leeds have failed with a bid for Southampton midfielder Charles. However, the club are closing in on a deal to sign him following positive talks with the Saints.
The Whites are confident that the 23-year-old midfielder will end up at Elland Road, with the player now pushing for the transfer this summer.
Leeds are also in conversations with Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Brandt and are hoping to convince him to move to the Premier League, despite interest from a Champions League club.
Last but not least, Leeds are still advancing towards a deal to sign Fulham winger Harry Wilson on a free transfer.
The Whites have offered him a lucrative contract to move to Elland Road, but they are facing competition from Everton and Aston Villa.
Defenders and goalkeepers are also on their agenda
Leeds need more clarity on their goalkeeping and defensive situation soon to ensure they can make moves on those fronts in the coming weeks.
The club have offered Karl Darlow a new deal, but he has yet to reach an agreement and has an offer to join Manchester United this summer.
Leeds are said to be considering bringing in two goalkeepers if the Welshman moves on from the club in the coming weeks.
Pascal Struijk has a year left on his contract and is uncertain about signing on fresh terms, as he may want to seek a fresh challenge away from Elland Road.
Leeds have been urged to sell the defender if he doesn’t agree to sign a new contract, as the club cannot afford to let him run down his deal and leave on a free transfer next year.
The Whites have been heavily linked with a club-record move for Sporting Lisbon defender Ousmane Diomande.
