Leeds United are continuing their pre-season preparations in the United States after beginning their summer schedule with a 3-2 defeat to Wrexham on Saturday night.
Daniel Farke’s squad returned to Thorp Arch last week for pre-season testing before heading to the US, where they will play several friendlies ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
Not everyone made the trip, though. Max Wober, Largie Ramazani, Jack Harrison and Joe Gelhardt were all left behind, with each player expected to leave Elland Road on a permanent transfer after spending last season out on loan.
Wober has already completed his move, joining Schalke on a free transfer, while Harrison has secured a permanent switch to MLS side New England Revolution.
The futures of Ramazani and Gelhardt remain up in the air. Valencia have yet to turn Ramazani’s loan spell into a permanent deal, while Gelhardt has seen interest fade since Hull City cooled their pursuit earlier in the window.

Leeds United exit deal enters final stages
Leeds United are on the verge of completing a deal for Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford after the England international gave the green light to a move to Elland Road.
The Whites have made significant headway in negotiations, with a broad agreement on personal terms already in place. Trafford is keen to make the switch, and discussions between Leeds and Manchester City are continuing as the clubs work to finalise the transfer.
His arrival is also expected to reshape Leeds’ goalkeeping options ahead of the new season.
Lucas Perri is pushing to leave the club and has already agreed personal terms on a contract with Torino as he closes in on a move to Serie A.
Torino have also reached an agreement with Leeds over a loan deal that includes an option to buy and were aiming to put the Brazilian through his medical on Tuesday.
Agent fees remain a significant stumbling block, but according to La Stampa via Tutto Mercato, the deal to take the goalkeeper to Torino has entered the final stages.
Leeds and the Italian club are finalising the fine print of the agreement that will see Perri joining Torino on loan with an option to buy.
Torino are waiting to get the green light from Leeds, who will approve the move once they finalise the deal to sign James Trafford from Manchester City.
It has not worked out for Lucas Perri at Leeds
Leeds signed Lucas Perri last summer as the answer to their goalkeeping woes. He was expected to hold down the number 1 position for years to come.
However, there were early concerns about his overall game, and inconsistent performances led to Perri losing his place in the team midway through last season.
He spent the latter half of the 2025/26 campaign as the second-choice goalkeeper behind veteran Karl Darlow, and only played in cup competitions.
Leeds do not believe that Perri is good enough to be a number 1 in the Premier League and are happy to let him go once Trafford joins.
They may have to sign one more goalkeeper after the Manchester City man arrives, as Alex Cairns is nothing more than a third-choice at Elland Road.
