So major transfer news emerged this week as Leeds United stepped up their pursuit of multiple targets. The Whites have already embarked on their trip to the US for training camp.
Some players were left out of the squad list to make the trip, meaning that those players would need to find new clubs.
It also means that there will be arrivals in the coming weeks. Major updates emerged about the three main players Leeds are trying to sign at this point of the season; Shea Charles, James Trafford and Julian Brandt.
Leeds have now offered a deal to Brandt, as they hope to sign the German midfielder this summer.
Shea Charles’ case is a bit complicated, as the Whites have indicated they will not be making another bid for the Southampton star. Their offer remains on the table if the Saints will revisit the move.
Leeds United exit close as agreement reached
Leeds United finally made a breakthrough with James Trafford on Thursday.
Club sources had already indicated that the Manchester City keeper was the main target for this summer. The World Cup had to end before they knew their stance on signing the 23-year old.
Talks are ongoing about the final details of a move for Trafford.

And at the same time, reports from Italy indicate that Lucas Perri is very close to an exit. Journalist Nicolo Schira is reporting that there is an agreement in principle between Perri and Torino ahead of a move.
A four-year deal has been mentioned, with the structure being a loan deal with a buy option for three years.
The Brazilian has already given the green light over a move to the Serie A.

Lucas Perri’s journey set to come to an end
Leeds United splashed the cash last summer on Lucas Perri.
They thought they had finally found the solution to their goalkeeping woes. Illan Meslier’s drop off had been coming, and it was very evident in the middle of the promotion campaign.
Perri was okay at the start of the Premier League season, but injuries disrupted him.
He was injured for long periods at two points of the campaign. When he returned late last year, he was not the same and was making uncharacteristic mistakes.
Daniel Farke made the decision to bench him for Karl Darlow and Leeds never looked back.
