Deals are rapidly progressing at Leeds United over the last couple of days. After James Trafford arrived, it looked like most of the transfer deals the Whites had been involved in were stalling.
This transfer window has seen the club be disappointed, as key targets went to different destinations.
The pursuit of star free agent Julian Brandt ended up with the German choosing a move to Ajax. And after a long pursuit of Shea Charles, the midfielder looks set to join Fulham.
Despite this, Leeds still have many targets on their list in this window.
Nico Elvedi is the latest deal on the table, after the news of the transfer emerged on Thursday. The 49ers are pushing to get the deal over the line after having agreed personal terms with the Gladbach star.
This transfer also confirms that Sebastiaan Bornauw is on his way out, with HSV deep in talks over the defender.
Leeds United transfer set to be announced today
Leeds United are currently focused on multiple deals as of this week.
Sebastiaan Bornauw could leave, Nico Elvedi could arrive soon and the transfer saga involving Lucas Perri could be concluded.
But one transfer deal likely to be confirmed on Friday is the departure of Joe Gelhardt. It was confirmed this week that Premier League rivals Hull City had agreed a deal with Leeds over the forward.
The Tigers have had interest in Gelhardt since his loan spell last season.
Expecting Gelhardt and/or Gourna-Douath to be announced today but if not ahead of Nice game tomorrow.

And they are finally set to wrap up the deal for their target. BBC Humberside Sports Editor Mike White confirmed that Hull City could announce the signing of Joe Gelhardt on Friday.
White also added that the announcements could be pushed to Saturday.
The player has already completed a medical, with the fee said to be around the region of £6.5 million – a coup for Leeds United.

49ers have done a great job with exits this summer
There have been complaints from fans and people around the club that Leeds do a poor job of selling players.
But this summer has seen the club do a decent job of offloading first team stars.
They managed to sell Pascal Struijk for a decent fee considering he had a year left on his contract, and recouped their initial outlay on Isaac Schmidt who joined Young Boys in Switzerland.
Leeds cut their losses on Max Wober, letting him leave on a free to offload his wages.
Jack Harrison was another big contract the club were able to get rid of. £6.5 million is a very good deal to get on a player like Gelhardt, who was surplus to requirements at Elland Road.
