Just days from the final match of the season for Leeds United and the club already has a lot on their plate. The Whites are away to West Ham on the final day of the season.
What happens in that match could determine who goes down between Spurs and the Hammers. The club have done a great job overall this season, and Daniel Farke and the players should be commended for that.
At the end of the season however, a lot of difficult decisions will have to be made. A whole host of players are set to return from their loan spells, and the club will have to figure out their future.
There are also players and staff at Elland Road up for contract talks. The biggest talking point over the last week has been Daniel Farke and whether he remains at Leeds beyond the summer.
He has been speaking about the club and their ambition, and the fact that much work needs to be done ahead of next season.
Leeds United set to make key contract decision
Farke has a year left on his deal, and there are question marks on it he will stay beyond that. He will hold talks with Leeds United at the end of the season over his future.
Some players are also on the radar, with a few key ones entering the final year of their contracts. Ethan Ampadu has been outstanding this year, with talk of a new deal on the horizon.
Pascal Struijk’s deal is up in 2027, and there are rumours that other Premier League clubs could swoop in and sign him this summer.
Per Football Insider, Leeds have made a decision on Karl Darlow. The veteran keeper’s deal expires next month, and the report believes that he will be offered a new deal.
The source believes Darlow will get a new deal with the club not fully convinced about last summer’s singing Lucas Perri.

Things look bleak for Lucas Perri
Lucas Perri started out well, but the injury he picked up early in the campaign disrupted his season. When he came back he looked like a completely different player.
What did not help was the errors half way through the season, which forced Daniel Farke to bench him.
Karl Darlow has filled in since, and proven that he is a Premier League level keeper. If Leeds give him a new deal, it is the right decision.
However, what happens with Lucas Perri will be a real issue. The club cannot offload him given his price tag, but with how bad he was last season, a decision could be made on his future after just one season.
