Leeds United play their final game of the season against West Ham on Sunday. The Whites have had quite a successful campaign on their return to the Premier League.
Many thought they would be relegated even before the season began, but everyone involved has done a wonderful job so far. Credit must go to the 49ers who got most of the recruitment right.
Getting players like Jaka Bijol, Anton Stach and Dominic Calvert-Lewin through the door was enough to bolster the first team to be competitive.
But with days to go till the end of the season, the Whites’ future is a bit unclear. Daniel Farke’s recent rant about his future at Elland Road has sparked a lot of discussions.
He will hold talks at the end of the season, but no one knows what will come out of it. Farke is under contract beyond this year, but as to how long he will remain at Leeds United is a different question.
Former Leeds United star lined up for Manchester United role
One club who know their immediate future going forward is Manchester United. After a poor start to the season, the club pulled the plug on Ruben Amorim. Michael Carrick came in as interim for the rest of the season.
The former England midfielder has done a fantastic job, and guided the team back into the Champions League. Daniel Fark did beat him when the two sides met recently.
Carrick has been confirmed to stay on as Manchester United boss, signing a two-year deal.
The 44-year old is not the only one staying long term, as Sky Sports believe that former Leeds United man Jonathan Woodgate could be made a permanent addition to his backroom staff.

49ers must make up their mind on Daniel Farke
Manchester United have chosen the man they want to go forward with, and now Leeds United must do the same. Whether Farke is going to get an extension, or leave his job, the club must decide soon.
There is not a lot of time between now and the start of the new season.
If Daniel Farke does continue, the 49ers must give him serious backing in the market for the team to navigate another season in the top flight. He delivered a great campaign this season, and deserves to be rewarded ahead of the next one.
