Leeds United fans will not be happy after Robbie Evans’ words this past week that the club could skip the January window. The club’s managing director explained that the Whites had maxed their PSR room.

So if there are to be new faces in the January window, there could be some sales. There have already been rumours in this international break about potential January signings.

But the current reality is that Leeds are far away from the winter window. What the club are focused on now is the upcoming games, and the Whites are in a positive spot. Four points from a possible nine this season is a good sign moving forward.

Leeds United have been linked with a move for West Brom star Isaac Price. The youngster has been on the lips of everyone after his performance against Germany. Former Leeds man Stuart Dallas was on BBC punditry duty and had a lot to say about the young midfielder.

“It’s a really hard task for him out there. He’s not getting a lot of the ball but the goal is just a real bit of quality. And that’s exactly why he’s in the team. Michael [O’Neill] knows better than us down here.

“That’s some finish, by the way. He’s watched it the whole way but just to have the composure to side foot that as well?

“It does look like a set-piece they’ve worked on. You see Trai Hume and Shea Charles sort of just being blockers and pushing them in, and it allows him to just free himself round the back.

“Listen, if he was playing with me and Brunty back then, you’d be pulling your hair out screaming at him. There’s one time in the first half here he gives the ball away.

Dallas was impressed by how Price was an out ball with a consistent goal threat on the night.

“But we’ve come to know that that’s what he’s about. He’s in the team because he can score goals. That goal is a fantastic finish. But also his work-rate tonight has been brilliant.

“And he carries that threat and that’s why he’s in the team. He can get up the pitch as well. You know, with Northern Ireland we need an out ball. He’s got the legs and strength and the power to get up the pitch.”

Leeds are months away from the January window, but if they do decide to spend, Isaac Price could be worth every penny.
