Daniel Farke watched his Leeds United side come back from two goals down to beat Liverpool 4-2 in a thrilling pre-season friendly at Soldier Field Stadium in Chicago on Sunday night.
Goals from Brenden Aaronson, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Sean Longstaff in the second half completed a scintillating comeback from Leeds in the high-profile pre-season friendly.
Apart from a defeat against Wrexham in their first pre-season friendly, Leeds have looked strong on their US tour, scoring victories over Sunderland and Liverpool.
Leeds will now return to the UK to take on RB Leipzig at Elland Road before travelling to Dublin to face arch-rivals Manchester United in a high-profile pre-season friendly.

Daniel Farke left annoyed after Leeds beat Liverpool
The wins over Premier League opposition Sunderland and Liverpool showed that Leeds are in good stead ahead of the start of the Premier League season.
Leeds topped the four-team pre-season tournament in the United States, and Daniel Farke revealed his annoyance at his team not getting a trophy for it.
Usually, teams are rewarded with a trophy for winning pre-season tournaments, but no such celebrations followed Leeds beating Liverpool on Sunday.
And Farke conceded that he was not too pleased with it.
“First of all, I have to say, I’m a bit annoyed, because they told me we play a tournament with four teams”, said the Leeds boss in his post-match analysis.
“Anyhow, we won this tournament and, actually, I want the trophy, because, especially in the U.S, you normally get the trophy for everything, but no trophy is around.
“So, for that, I’m a bit annoyed!”
Leeds are progressing well ahead of the new season
Leeds United have shown plenty of promise during pre-season, despite Daniel Farke still waiting for several important additions to bolster his squad before the transfer window closes.
Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemovic are the only new faces available to Farke at the moment, but Leeds are making progress in their pursuit of Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford.
The club are also continuing their search for a striker, an attacking midfielder and cover at left-back.
There is a sense that this squad is still a work in progress. If Leeds can complete the signings they are targeting over the coming weeks, Farke will have a deeper and more balanced squad capable of building on last season’s 14th-place finish and pushing the club forward in the Premier League.
