Leeds United have not gotten off the to best of starts in this transfer window. So far, their only business since the end of the season has been letting players go.
As things stand, Illan Meslier, Karl Darlow, Alex Cairns and Sam Byram are no longer Leeds players.
Their contracts expired last week, and they are all currently free agents. However, the club has offered new terms to Darlow, Cairns and Byram, with reports that Cairns has verbally agreed to stay.
Darlow is looking at options, with Manchester United and Everton interested.
Leeds also shipped Pascal Struijk to Brighton last week. The deal was wrapped up quickly as the club needed funds to avoid PSR sanctions. Struijk was also ready to leave and would not sign a new deal.
Leeds United keen on £52m double swoop
The Whites are now ready to spring into action this summer.
Japanese international Zion Suzuki has been linked, with serious interest from the Whites. It is believed that the 23-year old will leave Parma, but the fee and the destination are unclear.
Leeds have been strongly linked, but no concrete offer has been made as of yet.
Per Gazzetta dello Sport (cited by Sport Witness), Leeds United united are also keen on Parma midfielder Mandela Keita. The Italian outlet believes that his club are willing to cash in this summer.
Keita has not yet decided on his next destination, so it will be down to the 49ers to convince him of a move.
The 24-year old is currently valued around £28 million this summer window.

Two signings to cover key positions is ideal
This summer, it is immediately obvious that there are two positions lacking depth ahead of next season.
Lucas Perri is the only first team goalkeeper under contract at Elland Road. Karl Darlow, who many expect to stay at the club, has yet to say any word about his future at Leeds.
The Whites’ backup Alex Cairns has reportedly agreed to sign a new deal, but nothing has been confirmed.
There is a huge gap in that area, and signing a young established keeper like Zion Suzuki sets Leeds United up for the long-term future. Keita would also be a useful addition in midfield.
From the club’s transfer target, it is obvious that they want to revamp that area ahead of next season.
Typical Leeds, we need a Keeper, a left sided central defender, a LB as cover for Gaby, a No.10 and a striker so of course we are linked with every central midfielder. Make it make sense.
How many more will we lose out on, always too slow, and someone elde jumps in, way to cautious! 🙈
How can you be in negotiation when no one has made any offers yet?
