Leeds United need a shakeup in the team, and Daniel Farke has explained how he makes his team selection during this challenging run.
The German coach has know to be stubborn with how he picks his Leeds lineups. Last season, he tried to many variations and combinations before landing on a successful one.
His pivot in the middle of the season saved the clubs campaign and put them on the path to avoid relegation. Switching formation in the middle of the year is not easy for everyone, but Farke did it.
The Whites started this year in decent form, but recent performances have raised eyebrows.
Leeds are winless since beating Newcastle United at Elland Road and have failed to score in two of their last four games.

This has prompted fans to question Farke and his tactics as well as his team selection.
Up next for Leeds is a highly anticipated game against Spurs this weekend. Roberto De Zerbi’s side are in form, having won their last three league games.
It will take a lot for the Whites to topple them, but Elland Road could give them an advantage.
In Thursday’s press conference, Farke spoke about how he selects the team, especially in this tough period. His explanation highlighted Sean Longstaff, which hints that the midfielder could see more minutes soon.
”Every session provides opportunities. Sean for example, I liked his last appearances, he looked sharp.”
”When important players like Noah and Anton are out, grab your chance with good performances. Sean one of the players who had an impact in the last games, involved in creating chances., unlucky not to score.”

Could Sean Longstaff be the solution?
Leeds need something fresh and it doesn’t matter where it comes from. If Longstaff can provide an injection of quality into the team, then he deserves a spot.
The Whites have looked very flat in recent weeks, and whenever the team is down, they have no clue what to do. Maybe bringing in someone with a lot of Premier League experience like Longstaff could be an extension of Farke on the pitch.
The midfielder will be highly motivated to do a job given how long he has been on the bench this year.
