Leeds United are already looking for ways to lift Daniel Farke’s squad in January, with the club’s recent struggles highlighting the need for more creativity in the final third.
The Whites have gone five Premier League games without a win, despite showing enough in several performances to suggest they deserve a better return. However, a lack of imagination and poor decision-making in attacking areas have repeatedly let them down.
Harry Wilson’s arrival has added another attacking option, but Leeds could still benefit from a midfielder who can create chances and make things happen in the final third.
And one player on their radar could offer exactly that.
Leeds maintain interest in Brazil international

According to TeamTALK, Leeds are continuing to monitor Gabriel Sara’s situation at Galatasaray ahead of the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old is one of three potential attacking targets for the Yorkshire club, with players from Coventry City and Lyon also on their radar.
Sara has previously attracted interest from several Premier League sides, with Leeds among the clubs to make enquiries about him during the summer.
Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Everton and Crystal Palace have also been linked with the Brazilian, who has two goals and four assists in 10 appearances for Galatasaray this season.
The midfielder spent two seasons at Norwich City before joining the Turkish giants in 2024. He has since established himself as an impressive creative presence and remains keen to experience the Premier League.
Sara could offer Leeds something different

Sara’s previous experience in English football could make him an attractive option for Farke, especially given Leeds’ need to improve its attacking output.
While Wilson offers quality in wide areas, the Brazilian could provide a different dimension from midfield, combining creativity with an ability to contribute goals and assists.
His record in Turkey suggests he has the attacking instincts Leeds have sometimes lacked this season.
A return to England would also give Sara the opportunity to finally test himself in the Premier League after previously featuring in the Championship.
Leeds face competition for his signature, but their continued interest suggests Sara remains firmly on their shortlist.
With January approaching, Farke could soon have another creative option to consider as the Whites look to get their season back on track.
