This week has seen some Leeds United players make the cut ahead of the international break. But this news also comes with disappointment for the few who miss out.
Anton Stach earned a call up to the German national team; he was on the fringes before he got injured ahead of the World Cup.
Wales boss Craig Bellamy also called up Jayden Lienou, Ethan Ampadu, Harry Wilson and Dan James. Wilson will not be available for the international break due to injury.
Leeds’ start to the season has seen some very impressive performances.
Some players will have no doubt caught the eye of their national teams with how they have started the season.

Friday saw Dominic Calvert-Lewin and James Trafford named in the England squad.
The Leeds United duo were rewarded with their performances this season. Calvert-Lewin gets another chance to stake his claim for the national team, as Trafford fights Jordan Pickford to be England number one.
This week saw people call for Jayden Bogle and James Justin to make Thomas Tuchel’s list.
Some sources even tipped Justin to make the final squad, as some England coaches had their eye on him. Unfortunately for the duo, they missed out but Daniel Farke had some words of encouragement for them.
”All English players are delivering good performances but it’s early doors. Thomas knows what he needs. If they keep delivering performances, everyone will be aware. You have to show with consistency. Pretty sure they have a chance to be in the spotlight.”
Bogle has a goal in his four Premier League games, and Justin has one goal and one assist in all competitions.
