Leeds United have had a wonderful start to the new season, aside their blip away to Chelsea, the team have been solid. And now, the players are starting to believe they can do more.
Finishing 14th last year came as a surprise to many, as Leeds were tipped to be relegated.
But the turnaround in form in the middle of the campaign was enough to go on a long unbeaten streak. That period in the season was crucial, as the club picked enough points to survive.
This season naturally comes with more expectations following the transfer window the Whites have had.

Leeds United take on Crystal Palace ahead of the first international break this season. Farke’s side will be keen to enter the long break with a result that keeps them near the top of the table.
The club sit in third place with some impressive performances so far.
And some Leeds players have been flawless this season; James Justin has been a surprise package so far. The defender has a goal and an assist in six games, and there is talk of an England callup.
Justin spoke about Leeds’ start to the season, and the club’s ambitions to BBC Sport West Yorkshire.
”What are the aspirations? To get 40 points, that’s the be all and end all.”
”Obviously, we are in out second season as a Premier League club and we’ve not managed to stay up as a club after two seasons for a hell of a long time.”
”Once we hit that 40 points, then we can talk about the next things then.”
”With the way we are playing, people are gonna talk. But it is a good thing for the team and everyone is getting their plaudits.”

Team have every right to be confident after bright start
This start to the season might be one of the best the club has had at this level for years. Leeds have only lost one game in all competitions.
The Whites remain unbeaten in the Premier League despite the difficult fixture schedule they faced.
And with how they have played, there should be confidence that they can continue that run deep into the campaign. Daniel Farke has managed to keep this team very competitive.
With the new signings that have arrived, and the added advantage of the club’s record at Elland Road, the players should believe that anything can happen this season.
