Leeds United fans were furious on Tuesday, after Karl Darlow left the club for Manchester United. The Whites goalkeeper was expected to remain at Ellan Road after his deal expired.
Darlow was key in the second half of the season as he stood in for Lucas Perri.
This was the second season in a row that the Welsh keeper was called upon to replace the underperforming first choice. So after his solid run to end the season, fans were hopeful he would stay.
Leeds’ goalkeeping problems were already complicated going into the summer, with three players set to leave.
Alex Cairns agreed to stay beyond this season, Illan Meslier left and joined Arsenal soon after, and Darlow ultimately chose a move to Old Trafford over staying in West Yorkshire.
He will be in Manchester United colours the next time Leeds fans see him.
Former Leeds United star set to snub Manchester United deal
Another former Leeds star that many expected to end up with Michael Carrick’s team was Crysencio Summerville.
His campaign with West Ham caught the eye of many clubs in England and across Europe. The Dutch star went on to the World Cup and quickly increased his value with more performances.
The 24-year old was heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford, but that does not look like the case now.
Sacha Tavolieri has reported that Saudi Club Al Hilal have joined the race for the winger. Other clubs are still monitoring the situation, including Serie A side AS Roma.
Summerville has been a great player since his breakout season a few years ago.
It was very disappointing that the Whites failed to earn Premier League promotion two seasons ago, which eventually lead to the player being sold.

Whites need an explosive attacker of their own
If anyone had watched Leeds last season, they would know how the club lacks quality in attack.
It took the efforts of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Noah Okafor and Lukas Nmecha for the team to score goals at a decent level.
Outside them, the team really has no options that consistently gives them production in front of goal. The recruitment team have a lot of work on their hands to improve the team from last season.
Surviving the first season back was a huge achievement, now the club have to do it all over again to remain in the top flight.
