Leeds United could be edging towards another permanent departure as one of their former players continues to impress in the Championship.
The Whites allowed several players to leave during the summer as Daniel Farke reshaped his squad for life in the Premier League. Some of those departures were designed to give players regular football elsewhere, while others included conditions that could eventually turn temporary arrangements into permanent transfers.
One such deal appears to be progressing in the right direction, with another encouraging contribution on Tuesday night reminding everyone why the player’s new club were keen to bring him in.
Ramazani finds the net for Burnley

Largie Ramazani scored for Burnley, his third of the season, in their 1-1 draw against QPR on Tuesday evening, adding another goal to his growing contribution since moving to Turf Moor.
The Belgian winger has been given the opportunity to play regularly under Fabio Celestini after it became clear he had no future at Leeds under Daniel Farke. His pace, direct running and ability to operate across the frontline make him a useful option for Burnley as they look to secure promotion back to the Premier League.
Ramazani’s latest goal will be particularly welcome for Celestini, who will want his attacking players contributing consistently during a demanding Championship campaign.
For Leeds, however, the significance goes beyond the individual performance.

Permanent Burnley move getting closer

Burnley signed Ramazani on a season-long loan, with an obligation to buy linked to an achievable appearance-related condition.
That means his continued involvement could bring Leeds closer to securing a permanent departure, rather than having to reassess his future when the loan expires next summer.
Ramazani struggled to make a lasting impression at Elland Road, despite arriving with considerable promise. He showed flashes of quality but could not establish himself as a regular part of Farke’s plans.
A return to the Championship has given him a chance to rebuild his reputation, and Burnley appear to have found a player who can contribute to their promotion challenge.
Tuesday’s goal is another positive step. While the permanent transfer is not yet confirmed, every appearance brings Ramazani closer to meeting the conditions the clubs agreed.
Leeds will be hoping he continues to deliver in Lancashire. A successful season for the winger would also represent a satisfactory outcome for the Whites, who could secure a permanent exit for a player no longer central to their plans.
