There are still a few months left till the end of the season, and Leeds United already have their work cut out for them. Last summer, the club allowed a handful of first team stars to go out on loan.

The likes of Max Wober, Isaac Schmidt, Mateo Joseph and Largie Ramazani all sought moves away from Elland Road. Most of these players had concerns about playing time entering this season, and decided to go elsewhere.

There have been no confirmed reports about any of these players continuing on permanent deals, but their futures will ultimately be decided this summer. Daniel Farke hinted to that when speaking about Mateo Joseph earlier this week: ”At the moment my full focus is just on the players here and our task, I’m not willing to speak on anything in the future, loan players, potential signings, recruitment or whatever,”

Leeds United plan to accept offer for first team star

One of the more surprising exits in the summer was Largie Ramazani. After an exciting start to life in England, injuries and fitness problems saw him out of the team for a while. But he managed to put together an impressive run towards the end of the season, making great cameos off the bench. So when he was loaned out in the second week of the Premier League season, some fans were surprised.

Ramazani made an instant impact in his first appearance at Valencia, but injuries cut short his start to the season. But since the start of the year, the winger has played so well, and reports are suggesting the La Liga side could decide to sign him on a permanent deal. Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider has reported that Leeds United are open to accepting new offers for the winger this summer. The Whites reportedly want to recoup their £10 million outlay.

Ramazani was never given a fair chance

For some reason, a bunch of signings from last year were not preferred choices under Daniel Farke. Isaac Schmidt barely got any playing time and so did Ramazani. Neither player had a run in the team to at least prove they were capable of starting on a week-to-week basis. The winger was a high upside player brought in to be a starter, but has not gotten his chance to shine. Being loaned out early this season could be the final nail in Ramazani’s coffin, and none of it will be his fault.
