Leeds United fans were still in awe of landing James Trafford ahead of their Elland Road clash on Saturday. Daniel Farke’s side recorded yet another win in pre-season.
They managed to stroll to a comfortable win over RB Leipzig.
Goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha were enough to seal the game. Leeds were also handed a huge boost as Jaka Bijol made his first appearance this summer.
Things are going well at the club ahead of their final preparations for the new season.
Leeds have two more friendlies to play ahead of their Premier League opener away to Nottingham Forest.
Leeds United star makes huge claim ahead of Man United clash
After the win over Leipzig at Elland Road, Leeds United will travel to Ireland to face Manchester United.
The two teams are set to renew their rivalry in what is expected to be a sell-out crowd at Croke Park on Wednesday night. The game will be Leeds’ fifth game since pre-season began.
Farke’s men will no doubt be in great mood after winning three of their last four games.
They have beaten Sunderland, Liverpool and RB Leipzig this summer, and will be hoping to secure another result against Manchester United.
Ahead of the game, Leeds star Jayden Bogle has said that the match will be anything but ‘friendly’ on Wednesday. When asked if the upcoming game will be considered a friendly, he said: “No, you can’t,” he told LUTV.
“Even though it is pre-season, it is not going to be a friendly. We will recover now and then prepare for that one next.”

How have Michael Carrick’s side fared in pre-season?
Michael Carrick’s side will be coming into Wednesday’s game off the back of an impressive draw with Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester United held the Champions League holders in a thrilling game in Sweden. They have won just two of their four pre-season games so far ahead of facing Leeds.
Most of their preparation this summer has been done in Europe.
Carrick’s side faced Wrexham in Finland, Rosenberg in Norway, and games against Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in Sweden.
Leeds on the other hand, just came back from their trip to the US, so it will be interesting to see how both sides fare in the game at Croke Park. After the game, Daniel Farke’s side will return to Elland Road to face Augusburg.
