January remains months away but clubs including Leeds United already have an eye on potential targets. News has now emerged about one player the Whites are keen on signing.
Fans would have thought the club would have a very quiet January window based on the words of club chief Robbie Evans.
The Leeds managing director said that the club would like to avoid the winter market altogether unless there is a serious need to address a position.
This summer was focused on bringing in players to boost the strength of the first team. And the 49ers did just that, adding James Trafford, Tarik Muharemovic and Harry Wilson.
The club have been off to a great start this season, going unbeaten in all their league matches so far.

And the new signings have played a big part in that, especially Trafford and Muharemovic.
Daniel Farke is yet to call upon most of the other additions like Melvin Bard and Jean-Matteo Bahoya, who will take a while to get comfortable with playing in England for the first time.
It is early in the campaign, but the team still sorely lacks a difference maker in attacking areas. Leeds United have done just fine with Nmecha, Calvert-Lewin and Okafor contributing to goals, but reports suggest a player has been lined up for January.

Global Transfer News Expert Ekrem Konur has reported that Pavel Sulc is the latest target.
Leeds are said to have been in contact with the player, with talks already underway. The Whites are not alone, as Spur, Villa, Juventus, and Atlético are all keeping an eye on the situation.
Lyon will demand around £43 million for the Czech international.

What would Pavel Sulc add to this Leeds side?
The attacking midfielder has had consistent productivity over the last few seasons. Before joining Lyon, he recorded 38 goals and 18 assists in all competitions for Viktoria Plzen.
And his first season in France last year saw him get 14 goals and seven assists.
Leeds would be signing a player whose job will be to get goals and assists. He is an attacking midfielder, but plays like a forward at times; always gets in the box and his passing and crossing ability will be a weapon.
He would be a much different profile to the options Daniel Farke currently has available.
