Leeds United have added significant quality to their attacking options, but getting the best out of their summer recruits will be crucial if they are to make progress in the Premier League.
Saturday’s victory over Tottenham offered another glimpse of what Daniel Farke can draw from the bench, with one of his forwards making a decisive contribution at Elland Road.
There is also growing confidence that Leeds have the players capable of causing opponents problems in the final third.

Longstaff singles out Wilson and Okafor

Sean Longstaff has made his feelings clear on the threat posed by Harry Wilson and Noah Okafor, describing the pair as two massive players for Leeds.
Okafor came off the bench to score the winner in the 1-0 victory over Tottenham, finding the net just two minutes after his introduction. Wilson, meanwhile, is another player Longstaff believes Leeds need to involve more in dangerous areas.
“They’re two massive players,” Longstaff said.
“Harry’s got so much experience in the Premier League, and had an unbelievable year last year. We’re really lucky to have him; we probably need to find ways to get more out of him, in terms of feeding him the ball in more dangerous areas.
“We all know what Noah can do, powerful, he can dribble, really hard to play against and scores a great goal today. It shows the strength we’ve got in the squad to bring those players in.”
Leeds have attacking options to make an impact

Wilson’s Premier League experience adds a different dimension to Leeds’ attack, and Longstaff’s comments suggest the midfielder believes there is still more to come from the summer signing.
The challenge will be getting him into positions where he can use his creativity and attacking quality to hurt opposition defences.
Okafor, meanwhile, offered a timely reminder of his ability to change a game. His pace, power and dribbling make him an awkward opponent to contain, while his finish against Tottenham demonstrated the value of having a player capable of making an immediate impact.
Leeds have not always found it easy to turn their attacking potential into consistent performances this season. But Saturday’s win provided encouraging evidence of the options available to Farke, with Longstaff convinced that Wilson and Okafor can play important roles in the weeks ahead.
