There still a few games left till the end of the season, but it seems like the 49ers are planning for the summer. News has emerged about potential targets this past week.

The main one being about Wolves defender Ladislav Krejci. The Czech international seems to have caught the eye of Daniel Farke, and the club also have interest in signing him. Reports claim that Leeds have contacted Krejci’s camp over the past week over the possibility of a transfer. Both sides are said to be open to further talks, with the Whites confident that personal terms will not be an issue down the line.

Manchester United join race for Leeds target

Wolves have officially been relegated after this week’s results, meaning that the club will most likely sell a host of players this summer. The likes of Joao Gomes, Ladislav Krejci and Mateus Mane are tipped to be some of the valuable assists they have. Wolves were very poor at the start of the season, which saw them remain at the bottom of the league. They improved from January, but it was not enough to survive. Their players’ performances these past few months seem to have caught the eye of many suitors.

After Krejci, Leeds have been linked with Mateus Mane. The youngster has had a breakout season, and seems to have caught the eye of other clubs. According to reports, the Whites have also made enquiries about the youngster. But any move for Mane will see Leeds rival Manchester United. Per SportsBoom, the Manchester club have Mateus Mane at the top of their shortlist for this summer. The England U18 star is said to be valued around £30 million, with Manchester United seeing him as a bargain signing that can augment their first team.

Elland Road would be a perfect landing spot for Wolves star

If Mane wants to remain in the top flight next season, a club like Leeds United would be the ideal choice. There is a more direct path to the first team, as he could come in an compete immediately. The Whites did similar with Wilfried Gnonto when he arrived at the club a few years ago. He would also be a great tactical fit under Daniel Farke. He can play in any of the roles up front, and can even play out wide. His ability on the ball and pace will bring the club some directness that Dan James and Wilfried Gnonto have failed to show this campaign.
