Bournemouth boss Marco Rose has broken down Leeds United’s strengths ahead of the two sides’ Premier League clash on Saturday.

The Cherries have sparked their season into life over the last few weeks.

They have beaten Man United and Sunderland in the league, and completed a 3-0 rout against Aston Villa in the League Cup midweek. So Rose’s side are full of confidence ahead of the game.

Leeds have had a decent start to the season, but it looks like things have slowed down.

Daniel Farke’s side are winless in their last four league games.

They have failed to score in two of those games, leading to questions over the attack. But Marco Rose believes that Farke’s side have a lot of threats that can hurt Bournemouth this weekend.

“Many weapons, set pieces, throw ins, Calvert-Lewin, top striker, always threatens a back line, it’s difficult to defend him.” Rose said in his press conference.

“The wing backs, really good, they are quite flexible in their possession game so unpredictable what they do, how they do it, they drop, they roll out, they overload spaces so you just have to be ready.

“But we are going to have a good match plan and we feel confident and in a good spot. It’s a home game and we know that the Premier League is our bread and butter and we have two Premier League wins now – good.

“We won two Premier League games in a row but we need and we want more.”

Leeds attack has to work on Saturday

I recent games, the club has struggled to find the back of the net. Leeds have just two goals in their last four games in the Premier League, and it is becoming a worrying statistic.

It looks like Dominic Calvert-Lewin is shouldering all the weight in attack.

Harry Wilson is yet to get up and running and Daniel Farke is still easing Jean-Matteo Bahoya into the team. Noah Okafor is yet to kick into gear, and Lukas Nmecha has to do with a spot on the bench as the team lacks depth at the centre forward position.

When the Whites face Bournemouth on Saturday, their attack has to do the talking – Leeds have a very good defence, but putting the ball in the net will win games.
