Leeds United aimed for the stars with their summer transfer window.
It was clear that the team targeted high quality replacements for the starting lineup. James Trafford came in to solve the goalkeeping problem, and Nico Elvedi and Tarik Muharemovic have bolstered the backline.
Leeds have a stingy defence and have shut out some of the best attacks in the league this season. A lot of that is down to how the new players have performed so far; Muharemovic has grabbed a lot of headlines since his arrival.
Trafford has also proved himself just months into the new season – matching the expectations everyone had.

Tarik Muharemovic came in as a direct replacement for Pascal Struijk, who joined Brighton in the summer. The former Whites star wanted to leave, so the club sought out a replacement. So far, the Bosnian has more than impressed in his first few games for the club.
Former Leeds man Paul Robinson has praised Muharemovic, while taking a swipe at Struijk in the process.
“There were a lot of eyebrows raised when Leeds sold Struijk,” Robinson said to BBC Sport.
“The biggest compliment you can pay Muharemovic is that nobody is talking about Struijk leaving. He has been an outstanding signing.”
Simon Grason also spoke about the young defender, saying that he looks right at home at Elland Road. The former coach has said that Muharemovic looks like a player that will be at Leeds for a long time.
“I’m not ignorant enough to think he doesn’t have aspirations to one day play for some of the biggest clubs in the world,” Grayson told BBC Sport.
“But right now? Sometimes a player is at home with a certain club, and I get that feeling with Muharemovic. I get the impression he loves Leeds, he loves the city, and he loves the supporters.”

Tarik Muharemovic is the latest example of 49ers stellar recruitment
Pascal Struijk was a good player in his own right, he formed a formidable partnership with Joe Rodon when the Whites were chasing promotion.
He has given a good account of himself his whole career at Elland Road. But with Muharemovic, things are very different; just watching him play gives a sense of his quality and that he is way above most players in the league.
The defender’s technique, defensive ability and anticipation are top notch. Leeds really signed one of the best players in Europe this past summer.
