Leeds United have signed four players in this summer transfer window. But the 49ers are hoping to get a few more in before the transfer deadline.
Daniel Farke’s men are off to a great start this season, with two wins in two games. Both have been difficult games on the road.
The club have made some quality additions to the team, including James Trafford, Tarik Muharemovic, Nico Elvedi and Harry Wilson. There has been a bit of concern about these signings.
Three of the four players signed form part of the backline – only one attacking player has joined so far.
Leeds have reportedly missed out on other outfield targets like Shea Charles and Julian Brandt.

The two were planned to add some major quality in the midfield and attack.
Leeds United missing out on signing Brandt as a free agent lead them to explore many other options. The Whites have targeted multiple attacking players including Mykhailo Mudryk and Rafael Leao.
Igor Paixao popped up on the radar after the club missed out on Julian Brandt.
The Brazilian was a serious target for the club last summer, but they missed out as Marseille won the race. There had been discussions about signing the winger, but Leeds have not made an official approach.

According to Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna, Sunderland have agreed a deal to sign Igor Paixao.
Marseille were open to selling the Brazilian due to their financial situation. The Black Cats will now land their main target.

49ers need to secure winger signing
Igor Paixao now looks to be off the board for Leeds United.
Their only concrete link to an attacking player is Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk, but the Blues have ended talks over a transfer.
Reports claim that they have laid their terms for a transfer if the Whites return to the table. Leeds wanted a season-long loan with no obligation to buy the Ukraine international.
Adding another player to the attack will be key for the club.
Leeds need more firepower to support Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor this season. The depth around the team was not great last year, so adding a few fresh faces will be a huge boost.
