Leeds United fans were very excited for the start of the new season. The club’s preparations were great and their transfer signings were impressive.
Daniel Farke’s men got off to a winning start this weekend, securing three points away from home to Nottingham Forest.
Anton Stach scored a late free kick to help his side win a difficult game.
On Tuesday night, the Whites faced Nottingham Forest in the League Cup. The game took place at the City Ground, and the away side managed to beat Oliver Glasner’s men.
Goals from Dan James and James Justin helped Farke’s side continue their impressive start to the campaign.

Starting your new season with two away games in a row is not ideal.
But Leeds United have done really well to win two games on the road, and can now set their sights on the next game at Elland Road.
In both matches against Nottingham Forest, the travelling support was amazing. They made their presence known, and the Leeds team applauded them after the game on Saturday.
The away fans were also in good spirits on Tuesday night.

talkSPORT’s Jason Cundy praised Leeds fans for how well they showed up for their side this early in the season.
“Leeds United fans are one of the best in the country.
“That was one of the things I missed about Leeds when they got relegated.
“Leeds fans are brilliant.”
Leeds host Brentford this weekend at Elland Road in their first home game of the season.

Elland Road must be a fortress once again this season
Ahead of the club’s first home game of the campaign, there are very high expectations for the team.
Their second season in the top flight will be very difficult compared to when they were promoted last year.
Leeds must continue to make Elland Road a fortress; the club must continue their form from last season. The Whites won most of their points in the Premier League at home.
And if they are to stand a chance of surviving another year, they must continue to make their home form an advantage.
Getting two wins on the road this week will boost their confidence ahead of their first game at Elland Road this season.
