”I think this is a club that, and it pains me to say it with a rivalry between the two United’s, this is a club moving in the right direction.”

A few more signings will be enough to get the team over the line
The 49ers have done some great business so far with the additions of Trafford, Muharemovic, Elvedi and Wilson.
But there are still a few areas of the squad that need to be strengthened before the transfer deadline. Leeds still need a cutting edge up front, with a striker top of the list.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin needs support and someone to help carry the goalscoring burden.
Adding depth in key areas like at fullback and in the goalkeeping department will also go a long way.
How the 49ers finish after the deadline will determine the whole course of the season.
