Leeds United have had an impressive start to the new Premier League season. Just last year, the club had picked up just eight points in seven games.
But this season has been a major improvement, with 10 points from seven games and just one defeat so far.
Looking at their fixture list to start the year, many would give a lot of props to the Whites for the job they have done so far. Credit must go to Daniel Farke, who has done a incredible job.
The 49ers provided him with quality players this summer and that has worked out well.
Despite all of that, Leeds fans and everyone around the club remain focused on the German’s future.

Daniel Farke’s current contract at Elland Road runs out in 2027. And after the successful season he had last year, there were reports that talks had been opened over a new deal.
Earlier this season, news emerged that there was a delay in talks as both parties had reached a standstill.
But since then, there has been positive updates from club chairman Paraag Marathe and Managing director Robbie Evans. The Athletic reported that Farke had parted ways with his agency in anticipation of signing a two-year deal.
Adam Pope has delivered the latest on the situation on the Don’t Go To Bed Yet podcast.
“We’ve talked a few times in a different way what Paraag Marathe has said, what Robbie Evans the MD (managing director) has said.
“And what Daniel has said, ‘I love working here, I love working for Paraag’. Robbie says ‘we’re working towards to it, it might take time’, Paraag said ‘Leeds fans were hoping he’s here for many more games’.
“All that suggests, and that’s been very recent, and some of that, if not all of it, may have been done since Daniel parted company with his agency.
“So, it begs the question, what was happening? And this was the thing that Jon Newsome, who is an agent, raised with us wasn’t it? Was that a bit of a sticking point, was the agent a sticking point?
“So, are they now converging quicker because there’s maybe not an obstacle in the way and they’ll get there in the end? But I don’t get the impressions we’re going to be sat here in 24 hours time and suddenly they’re going to announce it.
“They may do, who knows? But I certainly see it as a positive thing that what has happened, and if the report is correct it’s very, very positive.”

Something will definitely be announced in the coming months
Everything is pointing towards Daniel Farke renewing his stay at Elland Road.
He is happy at the club, and after his words at the end of last season, the 49ers backed him in the transfer market. Ownership are happy with him to lead this long-term project and he has proven his worth.
Not many managers in the league are capable of delivering what Farke has done so far.
Fans will be eagerly anticipating the announcement of a new deal, which will surely come before the end of this season.
