Leeds United’s recruitment this summer has attracted praise as they secured seven new signings without spending too big in an overinflated market.
Players such as James Trafford and Tarik Muharemovic have raised the level in the starting eleven, and Nico Elvedi showed the strength of the squad in the draw at Brighton.
Leeds also expect new forward signing Jean-Mateo Bahoya to make an impact once he settles down and adapts to English football following his deadline-day arrival from Eintracht Frankfurt.
However, some Leeds supporters are concerned about the initial performances of a new signing who was billed as a major coup in the summer transfer window.

Leeds new boy is under pressure already
Leeds chased Harry Wilson for over a year before finally signing him on a free transfer this summer after he decided against signing a new deal at Fulham.
His performances in the Premier League convinced the Whites to push hard to sign the winger, after a deadline-day deal collapsed last year.
Despite already being 29, Leeds handed him a four-year contract worth around £76,000 per week after deciding they had little reason to expect the Welshman’s attacking output to drop off as he enters his 30s.
However, Wilson has struggled to impose himself in a Leeds shirt and has started just one of their opening three Premier League games at the start of the season.
He started the opening fixture against Forest, but was on the bench in the first half against Brentford, before coming on at the break.
Wilson was once again named among the substitutes against Brighton, with Daniel Farke opting to start Brenden Aaronson ahead of the Welshman for the second game running.
He came on towards the end of the game and made little to no impact as Leeds managed a 1-1 draw at the Amex Stadium.
The Welshman is under pressure to show why Leeds chased him for over a year before signing him.

The Chelsea clash is big for Wilson
Leeds will travel to London to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the third round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.
Daniel Farke is expected to make changes to the team in the cup game, and Harry Wilson is expected to come into the starting eleven in West London.
The Welshman will be under pressure to perform and give Daniel Farke a selection headache ahead of naming his team for the Newcastle clash at Elland Road.
Aaronson was widely expected to drop down the pecking order following Wilson’s arrival, but things have played out very differently. The American’s work rate and willingness to put in the hard yards have helped him retain his place in Farke’s starting eleven.
Wilson has everything to do to replace Aaronson in the team, and he needs to make an impact against Chelsea on Wednesday night.
