Leeds United will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Arsenal this past weekend. They are up against bitter rivals Manchester United next.
This game is very significant for both sides involved, as it has been for decades.
Daniel Farke’s side had their impressive start to the season halted by the Premier League holders. Despite taking the lead and playing a very good game, they still managed to lose to the Gunners.
Leeds fans will be hoping their team puts the last result behind them to focus on the weekend.
Their opponents have had a very disappointing week, seeing the news that has come out of Old Trafford in the last few games.

Michael Carrick’s side failed to beat a 10-man Spurs side in the league last Sunday, which raised concerns.
Then the club lost to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, which caused more outrage. There is a lot of pressure on the team ahead of this weekend, with Carrick also in the hot seat.
Alan Shearer believes that Man United will have their backs against the wall and that Leeds are the favourites to win.
”Elland Road will be absolutely bouncing.” he wrote in his Metro column.
”They’re up against it, Man United and they’re up against this Leeds team who are going to make it very difficult.”
”They were brilliant at Arsenal last week. I’ve got no faith or confidence in Man United. So, I’m going to say a home win. I think Leeds will beat them.”

Sunday’s visitors are up against it
Manchester United have been poor this season; they have picked up just six points in six games in the Premier League. Calls for concern have only grown louder since the draw against Spurs.
Michael Carrick’s men have taken just one point against two teams that finished the game with 10 men.
Sunday’s visitors have only won one game in the league this season, against newly-promoted Ipswich Town. Coming into this weekend’s game, they are the underdogs.
Leeds’ record at Elland Road has been very impressive, and their 4-1 win over Newcastle last month put the league on notice.
Farke’s men must use the home crowd to their advantage if they want to clinch all three points this weekend. Fans will really be disappointed if Leeds do not get a result.
