Leeds United’s next fixture could not have come at a worse time. They face Spurs and Roberto De Zerbi, who are on a winning run.

After a terrible start to the year, the London club have been able to string together some very important results. De Zerbi’s side are now unbeaten in four Premier League games.

Leeds on the other hand, have dipped in the last couple of weeks. They have just one win in their last six games.

This weekend sees them host Spurs at Elland Road with a lot on the line.

Spurs will be looking to make it four wins in a row when they visit Elland Road, and Leeds United will be after their first win since September.

Chris Sutton has shared his view on this weekend’s game, saying that there is not much between the sides and that he is predicting a draw.

“Tottenham always seem to do well against Leeds – they have only lost one of their past 15 meetings in the Premier League, going back almost 25 years. I am a little bit of a believer that some teams always do well, or badly, against certain opposition or on certain grounds.” Sutton wrote in his BBC Sport column.

“Roberto de Zerbi’s side have rocketed up the table on the back of three wins in a row, although they were helped out a lot by Jean-Philippe Mateta’s red card in their victory over Crystal Palace last time out. Tottenham are flying at the moment, and their confidence is up – we are seeing a bit of a Spurs swagger for the first time in a long while.

“So, while I don’t think they will make it four wins in a row, I don’t see them being beaten, either. It’s likely to be a very tight game. Leeds were a bit unlucky to lose to Bournemouth last week, but their lack of goals is becoming an issue.”

Spurs will not be an easy task on Saturday

Everyone is now relaxed that the Whites are back at Elland Road given their current form. The team are unbeaten at their home ground, and welcome Tottenham on Saturday.

But like in the games against Man United and Crystal Palace, no one should assume the match is a done deal for the home side.

Leeds need a result, but Roberto De Zerbi has his side in top form. Getting three points will be a very difficult ask.
