Leeds United are currently in the US for their training camp and summer friendlies. They played their first game against Wrexham a few days ago and will face Sunderland on Friday.
The squad list for the trip had some notable omissions.
Four players were left out; Max Wober, Joe Gelhardt, Largie Ramazani and Jack Harrison. All four players were expected to leave, after spending last season on loan away from Elland Road.
So far, two players have left Wober and Harrison.
Max Wober flew to Schalke’s pre-season camp abroad and had a medical. News broke about it and spread, before Leeds agreed to terminate his contract and let him leave on a free transfer.
MLS side New England Revolution signed Jack Harrison for an undisclosed fee. The winger joined the club as a ‘Designated Player’.
Club are still interested in move for Leeds United star
Joe Gelhardt remains a Leeds United player despite the campaign he had last season with Hull City.
The forward had 15 goals and five assists as he helped the Tigers win promotion through the play-offs. There was talk of a deal to make him a Hull player, but it has since died down.
Largie Ramazani ended the second half of the season in style for Valencia with five goals in the tail end of the campaign.
Valencia have pursued the winger, and even held talks with Leeds, but have yet to reach an agreement.
Graham Smyth revealed that the Spanish side’s valuation of Ramazani was wide of the mark, but indicated that both sides could agree on something going forward.

Journalist Alex Alfaro has revealed on the Tribuna Deportiva show that Valencia are still ‘actively interested’ in a move for the Leeds United winger. However, they will pursue a move late in the transfer window.
It is believed the Whites want to recoup as much of his £10 million transfer fee as possible.

Leeds are right to hold their ground in negotiations
It has been clear that Valencia have fancied a move for Ramazani since last season.
However, the club know that they do not have the financial muscle required to complete a deal. But they are banking on Leeds being desperate enough to offload Ramazani to get a cut-price deal.
Leeds have held on to their valuation so far, and are adamant they want to recoup the player’s initial fee.
The 49ers have been accused of being ‘poor’ sellers when letting go of players, and now they are changing that. If Valencia want Ramazani, they need to pay the transfer fee.
