Leeds United are still looking to make some moves in the market ahead of the new season. The Whites are in talks over some players these past few weeks.
James Trafford has been a major talking point since last week.
Leeds managed to enter talks with Manchester City over the England goalkeeper. Discussions have progressed quickly since last week, with Trafford giving the green light for a move.
Agreements have been made over wages, and a potential release clause.
Now the final details remain to complete the transfer in the coming days. The club are also pushing to sign free agent Julian Brandt, and also have an eye on other targets.
Liverpool star tipped to make Leeds United switch
Brandt is a midfield target Leeds United and Daniel Farke are very keen on.
Southampton midfielder Shea Charles is also another one on that list. The Whites have had three bids rejected for the Northern Ireland international, and have left their last offer on the table.
Former Aston Villa scout Bryan King thinks Harvey Elliott would be a good fit at Elland Road.
The midfielder returned to Liverpool this summer following a disastrous loan spell at Unai Emery’s side last season. King thinks the former England U21 star could thrive with playing time.
“I can see Harvey Elliott [join] Leeds, [they’re] a club for him,” he said to Football Insider.
“You know, that kind of club where he can be a key player and get regular time is ideal.
“I never fancied him from day one at Aston Villa. He was competing with Sancho, wasn’t he? He’s obviously leaving Liverpool, so Leeds could work out well for him.”

Is Harvey Elliott worth a move this summer?
The Liverpool midfielder is a good player who found himself in a difficult situation last season.
He was on loan at Aston Villa, who barely played him while he was on loan. Arne Slot did not like the player, as he had his preferred options in midfield – the reason Elliott left in the first place.
The 23-year old remains a very good player who can play in midfield and attacking areas.
At this point of his career, he needs a move that will give him consistent playing time at the top level. Leeds can give him that for him to turn things around and thrive, but it would be down to the 49ers to make a move first.
