Leeds United are ramping up preparations in their training camp in the US. The club will play a few friendlies before jetting back to England in time for the start of the Premier League.
All the players named in the squad list for the tour are available, excluding Noah Okafor.
The winger will get some additional days of rest after participating in the 2026 World Cup with Switzerland.
Leeds are working on bringing in more first team players as they continue to prepare for their friendly games. This week has seen the club make great strides in some deals.
An offer has been made for Julian Brandt, and there are now talks with Manchester City and James Trafford.
The Whites will be hoping these deals are completed in time for the players to report to the US.
Injury doubt emerges ahead of Leeds United clash
Leeds United will play their first friendly of the US tour against Wrexham on Sunday.
Daniel Farke’s men have spent the last few days in training. They landed in the US before the weekend, and will have to get up to speed quick enough in time for the game.
Ahead of Sunday, Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson has revealed that Dean Windass has been ruled out of the game.
“He’s had a setback with his calf injury, which is a shame for Josh but that is part and parcel of football,”
The striker failed to play in the two pre-season games ahead of the Leeds clash. Outside Windass, the Championship side will have their full squad ready for kickoff.

Wrexham will be a tough test for the Whites
Wrexham have already played two matches in pre-season.
They held Polish side Wisla Krakow to a draw in their first match this summer. And just recently, they beat Manchester United by a lone goal in a friendly game in Helsinki.
Sunday’s clash with Leeds United will be their third game so far.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson says his team will approach the Leeds game like they have with the two other matches in pre-season.
“It’s very much the same approach – we will respect and look at Leeds’ strengths but we want to make sure we take the positives from the United game and look to replicate that.”
Leeds on the other hand will be playing their first game of the summer. This match will be a chance for Daniel Farke to check the fitness levels and readiness of most of the squad.
