At the end of June, Leeds United could have just one first team goalkeeper under contract. The Whites are set to lose three of their shot stoppers.
Karl Darlow, Alex Cairns and Illan Meslier are all out of contract at the end of the month. Many Leeds fans expect the club to offer a new contract to Darlow after this season.
The Welsh international has been very impressive during this season, as he took over from Lucas Perri.
The Brazilian was signed last summer as the Whites thought Perri was the solution to their goalkeeping situation. But after injuries and some errors, Daniel Farke decided to bench him for the rest of the season.
Lucas Perri only featured in cup games from the middle of the season, and Darlow was in goal as the club avoided relegation.
Leeds United should target Manchester United star
Everything points to Illan Meslier leaving Leeds United; he has wanted a way out since being benched in the promotion campaign. Alex Cairns could also leave, but could return to work with the U21s.
Karl Darlow’s future is up in the air, but some fans are holding out hope after Ethan Ampadu recently signed a new contract at Elland Road.
Leeds could have the perfect solution in Manchester United star Radek Vitek. According to multiple reports, the 22-yeyar old is open to leaving Old Trafford this summer.
And news from around Elland Road has revealed that the Whites are not fully convinced when it comes to Lucas Perri, so they could look to the transfer market.

Radek Vitek would be a great option for Leeds
Last season, Vitek went on loan to Bristol City and had an outstanding campaign for the Championship side. He kept 12 clean sheets last season, and won Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year.
Per BBC Sport, Vitek is adamant that he wants to continue playing first team football. The 22-year old has a contract with Manchester United until 2028, so a move would be difficult.
However, if the player is willing to push to leave, then the 49ers must consider signing him for Leeds United.
Leeds will surely do some transfer business in the goalkeeping department with these contracts expiring, and Radek Vitek should definitely be one of the options on their list.
