Leeds United have made an excellent start to the season with a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday, but there is still plenty of work to do in the transfer market before the window closes.
The Whites are still looking for cover at goalkeeper, striker and left-back, while Daniel Farke also wants to add a versatile forward to his attacking options.
Leeds missed out on Julian Brandt after the Germany international opted to join Ajax, while it remains unclear whether Igor Paixao will leave Marseille before the deadline despite the French club’s need to raise funds.
The Whites have been monitoring several attacking options throughout the summer as they continue to assess what to do before the end of the transfer window.

Manager makes brutal transfer admission on Leeds target
AC Milan’s Rafael Leao has been heavily linked with a move to Leeds, with the Rossoneri believed to be keen to offload him before the end of the window.
The Portuguese forward has been left out of AC Milan’s opening league game against Torino later this evening, and Ruben Amorim has claimed that Leao is injured.
He stressed that he doesn’t want to discuss Leao at the moment and remained coy on the prospect of the winger leaving AC Milan in the coming days.
Amorim said in a press conference when asked about Rafael Leao’s future: “Rafa isn’t important right now; tomorrow’s match is important.
“Leao isn’t ready to play tomorrow; he’s injured. The others are ready to play.
“I have no further news on the players leaving.
“But the important thing is to win tomorrow.”
Rafael Leao would be a coup for Leeds
AC Milan need to make a big sale this summer to help fund their own transfer plans, and Rafael Leao is one of the players who could bring in a significant fee.
Leeds would reportedly need to spend around £40m or more to sign the winger, while also being prepared to meet his wage demands.
The Whites have already shown with the James Trafford deal that they are willing to spend big when they believe a player can make a real difference to the team.
Leao certainly fits that description. His quality could give Leeds’ attack another dimension and make the sizeable investment required worthwhile.
His arrival could push Noah Okafor further down the pecking order, but Leão is the kind of player Leeds should be willing to pay big money for if a genuine opportunity to sign him presents itself.
