Leeds United continue to clear house as the club move unwanted players from the first team. The Whites have been criticized for not letting players go at the right time over the last few years.
This summer has seen the team move a lot of players who seemed to be surplus to requirements.
And the window is not over, so fans should expect more departures going into the new season.
Leeds sold Pascal Struijk in the first week of the transfer window. The club wanted to keep their key player, but he did not want to commit his future and so they decided to let him leave.
Isaac Schmidt was also sold to Young Boys in Switzerland.
Leeds United confirm transfer exit
The major exits were Jack Harrison, who joined the MLS. The winger was one of the highest paid players in the first team, and now his contract is finally off the books.
Same with Max Wober, whose transfer value had drastically declined after barely playing football in the last two seasons.
Leeds United agreed to terminate his contract, allowing him to leave on a free transfer.
One of the best stories of last season was how Joe Gelhardt helped Hull City win promotion to the Premier League. His 15 goals helped propel the Tigers to the Championship playoff final, which they won.
After taking the whole summer to decide on his future, the newly-promoted club made a move to sign him this past week.
On Saturday, Leeds United officially confirmed that Joe Gelhardt has joined Hull City.
Per reports, the transfer fee is said to be around £6.5 million which will help the club in this transfer window.

Wigan to get cash injection following Joe Gelhardt move
Leeds united will not be the only club to benefit from Gelhardt’s transfer.
Per Alan Nixon, his former club Wigan had a 20% sell-on clause when the forward was sold back in 2020. Which means they will pocket close to £1 million from the transfer deal.
Joe Gelhardt arrived as a highly rated youngster and made an impact in the first team. Sadly for him, the club was not stable for a while after they were promoted to the Premier League.
He played under multiple managers who did not fancy him.
When Farke arrived in 2023, Gelhardt was still not a clear starter which lead to the player leaving on loan. His first loan spell at Hull City impressed them enough to bring him back this past year.
And now, he will have the chance to play Premier League football.
