Leeds United have been able to get four deals across the line in this summer window, and will push to add a few more before the deadline. The Whites have been really active in the last couple of days.
Nico Elvedi has arrived on a permanent deal from Borussia Monchengladbach.
The defender joining has paved the way for Sebastiaan Bornauw to leave on a loan deal. He joins HSV in the Bundesliga, and according to Daniel Farke, the Belgian was the one who asked to leave.
With just over a week till the transfer deadline, the club will hope some things fall in place.
Leeds open their Premier League campaign this weekend when they go away to Nottingham Forest.
Leeds United transfer deal delays once again
James Trafford has arrived and settled in nicely at Elland Road.
The England keeper was the club’s priority signing this summer, and the 49ers have delivered. His arrival allowed Lucas Perri to leave Leeds United and join Italian side Torino.
Over the weekend, the deal for the Brazilian was expected to be completed.
But as of Thursday, the 28-year old’s transfer to the Italian side has still not been confirmed.
According to Cuore Toro, the deal has once again been stalled as Torino club President Urbano Cairo has yet to confirm the transfer.
Perri’s agent is currently in Italy trying to resolve the situation and process the transfer, which has taken weeks. Since James Trafford arrived, Lucas Perri has been given the green light to leave.
His finger injury delayed a medical initially, and the Marseille saga also disrupted the process.
But with everything looking to be done, another bump in the road has emerged. Torino already have an agreement in place for a loan deal and an option to buy worth £12 million.

This could disrupt 49ers’ transfer plans
Lucas Perri to Torino has taken forever, and could drag on even more.
But with the Italian club keen on adding a keeper, the transfer might be completed in the coming days.
If it does manage to go South, then Leeds’ plan to sign a backup keeper for James Traffor will go out of the window.
The 49ers will now have to plan with the Brazilian in the first team for another season. All parties involved should hope that all the paperwork can be finalized for this transfer to go through.
