Leeds United hit 43 points in the Premier League after their win over Burnley last Friday night. The victory sees the Whites continue their six-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League.

The club’s current form is a far cry from when they were entering the international break. Picking up just two points from four games, Daniel Farke’s side were a bit anxious heading into the Manchester United game after the break. However, they have showed up in every game since, with great results against Manchester United and Bournemouth. They are now arguably in the best form among the other teams at the bottom of the table.

Leeds United could bag £10m boost in final Premier League games

Leeds United sit in 14th place now, with three games to go. As things stand, they will earn around £18.6 million if they finish in 14th at the end of the season based on last season’s merit payments. The team is also surprisingly just five points off 10th place in the Premier League.

And with three games to go, anything can happen in the top flight. They play Spurs, West Ham and Brighton in their final three games and even with the fixture list looking difficult, they have pulled off more surprising results. One game at Elland Road also means that they have a strong chance of getting a result in the next three games. A finish in 10th place could net the team up to £29.1 million. This is an incentive to Farke’s men as they can pick enough points to make sure they can get that £10 million boost finishing close to 10th place as possible.

A lot of incentive ahead of the Spurs clash

Going to face Tottenham Hotspur at their home on Monday night is a daunting task, but the Whites could be buoyed by this development. They have the right mentality and have proved it during this unbeaten run. Noah Okafor revealed how key it was that his teammates were only focused on getting the best result and not worry about their opponents.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side will be desperate for a win as they need to get out of the relegation zone. West Ham play 24 hours before they kick off, so depending on the result, there could be a lot at stake next week. Nonetheless, a nice financial boost for the team at the end of the season stands to benefit everyone around the club.
