Leeds United have seen four players leave the club this summer, and more could be on the way. The 49ers are looking to revamp the team that finished 14th last season.
Daniel Farke called for the ownership to show ambition if they want to keep him long term.
The club have done well, signing Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemovic – two players expected to immediately improve the first team.
In the meantime, the club are continuing to work on exits. Pascal Struijk was the first to leave, as he was sold to Brighton. Then Isaac Schmidt followed as a deal was agreed with Young Boys.
Karl Darlow’s exit was officially confirmed, after he turned down a new contract and left as a free agent.
Max Wober has also officially left the club after agreeing to terminate his contract. The Austrian defender has since gone on to join Schalke.
Leeds United line up triple transfer swoop
Leeds United have embarked on their trip to the US for pre-season and friendly games.
And in the meantime, the club are pushing to complete some transfer deals. It was confirmed on Thursday that discussions are underway over a move for James Trafford, as the City keeper gave his okay.
Leeds waited for the England keeper, and now they could land him soon.
News has also emerged that an offer has been made to Julian Brandt. This comes after the player and his father visited Elland Road over the last week.
The pursuit of Southampton’s Shea Charles seems to have come to a standstill.
Sources claim that Leeds have made their third and final offer after it was rejected. The ball is now in Southampton’s court as the Whites are ready to walk away completely.

The BBC correspondent says moves for Brandt and Charles are ”all in the mix”, as Leeds hope to seal all three transfers.

Every signing so far has been an improvement
If the triple swoop for Trafford, Charles and Brandt go through, that is five signings.
Each player represents an improvement on the current options in the team heading into next season. Harry Wilson is an improvement on what Leeds had in wide areas last year.
Tarik Muharemovic has more potential to be better than Struijk.
In midfield, the potential additions of Charles and Brandt could take the team to a whole new level.
And adding a goalkeeper like James Trafford would be a significant upgrade on what Leeds had in goal last year.
James Trafford would push on from Man City and get the experience as the undeniable first team Goal Keeper for one of the most progressive clubs in the Premiership. Playing at Leeds would truly help him evolve into the England No 1 choice keeper. Leeds may not be the richest club in the league but it is where the heart is that truly matters most.
He would my dream choice as long as he doesn’t demand exhorbitant wages I his first year and can get an increase based on good performances. We don’t have oil lake m9ney behind us yet like others. I would pay some premium for such an upgrade and we are in ‘a spot of bover’ to be fair. Good buys so far but the old tendency to linger a bit too long with low bids and then waste time. Move on if the other side are playing too much hardball. I’d prefer a good goalie than maxing out on a very good Championship player. Marching on together.
